This is some text that I pasted in from Word, it has hidden formatting that breaks line endings in FileMaker

Function definition: (Copy & paste into FileMaker's Edit Custom Function window)
The filter uses the Unicode Latin Basic and Latin Extended 1 Character sets to remove any hidden characters from text. It means when pasting in text from Word (for example) any hidden characters such as paragraph markers get removed.
