( BTU ) / 500 * ( T1 - T2 ) Click to copy

This calculation can be used to determine the rated water flow, in gpm, through a coil, when the Rated British Thermal Units (BTU) and the Design Temperature drop is known. T1 is the entering temperature and T2 is the leaving Temperature.
