Filemaker's Data Formatting for currency can hide extra characters if the user limits the fixed number of decimals. When this function is used with conditional formatting, the extra character(s) can be flagged.

If "150.00" is supposed to return 2, then the "number" parameter is not a number. Perhaps "amount" would be a better name for it?
