Starting with your reference date calculate a range backward x months

Sample input:

DateRangePast(get(currentdate) ; 6)

Sample output:

11/1/2010...4/30/2011 (when the current date is 05/05/2011 and you want to look at the past 6 months)

Function definition: (Copy & paste into FileMaker's Edit Custom Function window)

Date ( ( Month( refdate ) - mos) ; 1 ; Year( refdate ) ) & "..." & Date ( ( Month( refdate )); 0 ; Year( refdate ))

This is to get a range of dates begining with the first of the month, x mos in the past through the last day of the previous month. The refdate must be a valid date and the mos must be a valid number.
