Flying the L-29 Delfin

The Czech Aero Vodochody L-29 Delfin is a cold-war era, eastern bloc fighter training jet. We took a fun flight with our friend, renowned test pilot and 3-time Reno sport class champion Dave Morss, owner of this plane. Luckily there were a couple of unlimited class pylon racers to fly with: two Hawker Sea Furies.

This is in Hollister, CA, a general aviation airport that's just thick with warbirds of all shapes and sizes. A great place just to visit, have lunch, and gawk.
