This error can be thrown to DSN managers trying to setup a connection to filemaker via ODBC.

The cause is due to special characters in the database name. If you have periods, commas, spaces, semicolons, etc... in your filename, make sure to explicitly check the filename the DSN is trying to connect to.

This is also a bug in the version 12 of FIleMaker Server. If the database is currently being accessed by an IWP user and you try and hit it with a CWP request you will be locked out. The same happens in reverse.

This error appears to be caused by inaccurate database relationships.

This error occurs out of the blue for me, 2-3 times out of thousands of queries pr day.

I have not been able to eliminate the error.

It could also simply mean we forgot to open the database in the Server Administration Tool.
