add a prefix or suffix to each line in a list

Sample Input:
AddPrefixSuffixToList ( "value1¶value2" ; "[value]" ; "[/value]" )
Sample Output:
[value]value1[/value]
[value]value2[/value]


 Then copy & paste into FileMaker Advanced's Edit Custom Function window.

Description:

Quickly add a prefix or suffix to each line in a list. Useful for coercing related values to XML
