  Sample input:
VariablesLog ( "name" ; 1 ; "John" )
  Sample output:
a variable $$name, that contains John, and a variable $$VariablesLog, that contains, amon others : $$name|john

  Function definition: (Copy & paste into FileMaker's Edit Custom Function window)

Use this function in combination with VariablesResetAll and VariablesLoadFromLog to be able to pass global variables from one file to another.
