Calculate a date one month earlier with correct day

Sample Input:
previousMonthsDate ( "10/31/2004" )
Sample Output:
09/30/2004


 Then copy & paste into FileMaker Advanced's Edit Custom Function window.

Click here to copy To Clip Manager if you have myFMbutler's Clip Manager installed

Description:

Calculates a date within the previous month where the day is adjusted to a possible result, i.e. 3/31/2005 is converted to 2/28/2005.
